Pancakes (Crêpes)

These super simple crêpes are thin, light, and perfect for sweet or savory fillings. Whip them up in minutes for a quick breakfast or dessert favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Egg
  • 115 g Plain flour
  • 300 ml Milk
  • Pinch Salt

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, add the egg to the flour with a little of the milk.
  2. Slowly mix in the flour while adding the rest of the milk.
  3. Whisking until you get a smooth batter.
  4. Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes (Optional).
  5. Heat a lightly oiled non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. Pour in a thin layer of batter, swirling to cover the base.
  7. Cook for about 1–2 minutes until the underside is golden, then flip and cook the other side.
  8. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
  9. Serve warm with your favourite toppings.
