Beef Mince Ragu

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Onion peeled and diced
  • 1/2 Carrot Peeled and diced
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary leaves finely chopped
  • 500 g Beef Mince 10% fat
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree

Method
 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan, adding the onion, carrot and rosemary, then cook for 3 minutes to soften.
  2. Then add the mince browning the beef evenly.
  3. In a small cup mix the tomato puree with water, then add into the pan.
  4. After 5 mins of cooking season with salt and black pepper.then add another ½ cup of water.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 35 minutes, Stiring occasionally.
